David Blaine Stunt to Include Electricity Voltage Controlled by Public (VIDEO)
David Blaine has thought up his latest stunt, with this one to take place in New York City again, surrounded by high voltage.
Known as an American illusionist and endurance artist, David Blaine has set a name for himself by breaking a number of world records and performing live, streetside stunts.
Blaine broke his first world record in 2008 by holding his breath for over 17 minutes under water. In his last New York stunt, Blaine was hung upside from without a safety net for 60 hours above Central Park's Wollman Rink. But his next extraordinary feat is one that he has stated that he might not be able to surpass.

"Beginning Friday, Blaine will spend three days and three nights standing in the middle of a million volts of electric currents streamed by tesla coils," the Associated Press reported.
The event has been titled "Electrified: One Million Volts Always On" and will be very interactive both in person and live on the Internet. Hosted from Pier 54 on New York's West Side, not only will onlookers be able to witness the event, they will also be allowed to type messages and control the amount of electricity surrounding the stuntman.
In addition, the event will also be streamed live on YouTube via Intel. In London, Beijing, Tokyo and Sydney, additional viewing stations have been set up where locals will also have the opportunity to have control.
Leading up to the event, Blaine has fasted to ensure that he will be able to handle being hooked up to a tube that will only allow water in and water out. Just days before, his plans consist of meditation and family time. At 39, this is the first time that Blaine will be performing the stunt as a father, giving him more cause for concern and more need for safety.
"I'll mostly be relaxing, meditating and playing with my daughter," he said at a press conference of his priorities before the stunt begins on Friday. "And trying not to deprive myself of sleep."
