Demi Moore in Hospital; Divorce from Kutcher Taking Toll?

Demi Moore was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles late Monday night for suspected substance abuse.

Paramedics were called to Moore's L.A. home at approximately 10:45 p.m. where she was then transported to a nearby hospital, according to TMZ.

Although her current condition is believed to be stable, it is believed that she will spend time in a facility to seek professional help and sources specify that the 49-year-old will be treated for substance abuse.

"Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," Moore's rep told TMZ.

"She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends," the rep added.

The mother of three filed for divorce from husband of six years, Ashton Kutcher, in November following allegations that 33-year-old Kutcher had an affair with Texan party girl Sara Leal, 22.

Moore released a statement shortly after filing which did not directly address the Leal affair claims.

"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," Moore said in a statement.

The pair is expected to battle out what critics have estimated to be a $290 million divorce settlement.

The estranged couple is believed to have a prenuptial agreement that protects both of their assets, but sources claim Moore will attempt to void it due to Kutcher's reported infidelities.

Moore is said to have hired high-power divorce attorneys whom she has instructed to "punish [Ashton] financially because of the way that he has broken her heart," a source told Daily Mail.

It is unclear how long Moore will remain in the hospital.
