Fans have praised the show for its more wholesome approach to reality TV, highlighting that it contains no sex, violence or cursing.

The show has also spun off a craze among fans with merchandise related to the A&E network show also selling out fast, with Walmart announcing recently that its "Duck Dynasty" t-shirts were their bestsellers through their men's, women's, and children's sections.

In last week's premiere, the Robertson family were shown planning a second wedding for Phil and Kay Robertson, who were renewing their vows. The couple were married 48 years ago and were unable to hold a traditional wedding at the time, and viewers watched the show in their millions.

The Duck Dynasty train dos not stop at just the show either; earlier this week Phil Robertson spoke at a community event at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

"I'm not an ordained preacher," Robertson told the student-sponsored event, according to The News Star. "I'm just a guy who builds duck calls. I love my country. We have a great family structure that you see on television. I'm just trying to get America and the rest of the world to do two things – love God and love your neighbor."
