Evelyn Lozada and her ex-husband Chad Johnson are speaking out about the news that the "Basketball Wives" star is six months pregnant.

While she re-tweeted congratulations from multiple people, the 37-year-old "Basketball Wives" star and entrepreneur also shared a picture of herself with her thoughts on the matter.

"NEW BEGINNINGS…" Lozada wrote before tweeting, "..I wanted to thank all of my followers for all of your love!"

Lozada broke things off with Johnson, 35, one month after they married in July 2012. The professional athlete physically assaulted Lozada after an argument ensued about his infidelities.

While Lozada has yet to share the identity of her future child's father, many brought the news to her ex-husband on Twitter who reacted with his typical brand of humor.

When one person congratulated Johnson on his new baby, the former NFL star jokingly assumed they were speaking about an automobile.

"My car isn't even finished yet but thank you," he responded on Twitter.

Another individual decided to ask Johnson if he was mad about about Lozada's pregnancy.

"I got these infant Louboutin unisex spikes ready as my gift," he responded.

Last February, the reality television star recently opened up to Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

"I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family," Lozada told Celebuzz recently. "Only this time, instead of me choosing, I'm going to allow God to choose whomever for me."

The reality star and author spoke about what she is looking for in her future husband.

"I just want a good guy. A family man who wants kids," Lozada previously told Celebuzz. "I don't want five kids, but one or twins would be great."
