Galaxy Nexus Release Date: Google's Giving 7 Free Smartphones Worldwide
The proposed Nov. 21 release date for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is quickly approaching and Google is offering seven of the smartphones free in a worldwide give away.
The challenge has already begun on the Galaxy Nexus Twitter profile and will select winners from several countries around the world including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, South Korea, United Kingdom, and the United States.
To participate, users must submit through Twitter “solutions to puzzles, photo challenges and essay questions to win prizes," according to the official rules.

The first two challenges have already been completed; however, each new challenge will be posted at a specific time to give users around the world the opportunity to view them at an appropriate time.
All times are Nov. 14 at 3 p.m., Nov. 15 at 12:01 a.m., Nov. 16 at 9 p.m., Nov. 17 at 12:01 p.m., Nov. 18 at 6 a.m., Nov. 19 at 9 a.m., and Nov. 21 at 3 p.m.
Each day features a new challenge and another opportunity to win. According to the rules, participants must be registered Twitter users and must follow the Galaxy Nexus’s Twitter to be eligible.
The contest runs until Nov. 21, when the winners will be announced.
Industry insiders speculate the Galaxy Nexus will release on that day, due to information leaked from the Verizon Wireless "Roadmap" advertisement. However, an official U.S. release date has not yet been announced.
The Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone that will power Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
