Galaxy Nexus Update: Verizon Drops its Price to $149
Verizon customers can now pick up the Samsung Galaxy Nexus smartphone for just $149.99.
The carrier dropped the price on one of Samsung's flagship devices this week for anyone purchasing the handset online. This is half of the original price.
Verizon seems to be looking to unload some of its Galaxy Nexus phones before it launches the long awaited Galaxy S3 later on this month.

That device will undoubtedly become the most popular one on Samsung once the company releases it in for the five major carriers in the U.S.
This is the second time this year that Verizon has offered the Galaxy Nexus at a discounted price. Back in April the company slashed its price down to $199 from its original $299 tag. This was done in order to compete with Sprint, who was the second major carrier to offer the Galaxy Nexus.
Sprint's version differed from Verizon's as it featured Google Wallet. Verizon reportedly left the feature out due to its desire to create its own electronic payment system using NFC.
Verizon customers who own a Galaxy Nexus now have the ability to upgrade to Android 4.0.4, the latest build of Google's Android software.
The official Build Number of the software is IMM76K and anyone who owns a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon should have been able to access it through an over-the-air update that started on May 24.
The Galaxy Nexus launched as a Verizon exclusive in December of last year.
The smartphone was the first in the world to ship with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed.
Other devices that currently come with Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed include the Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC One X, One V and One S.
