Attorney to Ask for Release From Confidentiality Agreement
A woman accusing Herman Cain of sexual improprieties wants to tell the world what happened — but she signed a 1999 confidentiality agreement in order to receive a year’ salary settlement, she has claimed.

Joel P. Bennett, a Washington attorney who represented one of Cain's accusers in the matter has spoken out in the press saying he would seek a waiver from the ARA agreement.

However, Sue Hensley, spokesperson for the association has said only that the group would “respond as appropriate” if and when Bennett asks for a waiver.
It just so happened that previous commitments by Cain for a series of prearranged meetings in Washington, led him into a barrage of questions from the press.
On Fox, where he appeared twice, the #1 front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination defended himself throughout the day. Pointedly referring to one of his accusers, Cain said, “You have to know the lady.”
Many of Cain’s supporters continue to support him. His grass roots campaign continues to back him.
