iOS 6 WiFi Problems to Be Corrected for Verizon iPhone 5
iOS 6 WiFi problems on the Verizon iPhone 5 will be corrected with an update issued by the carrier.
Verizon iPhone 5 users end up using data while connected to a Wi-Fi network. They also end up being charged for data that they did not use and Verizon has not yet announced if they will be providing customers with a refund for this connection malfunction.
Verizon users can install the update by tapping Settings>General>About and waiting for an alert to appear. Once it shows up users should click OK to install the update. Then, by holding the Sleep/Wake button, users can see the slide to power off option. Next, they should turn the device off and then turn it back on in order for the update to be complete.
In order to verify this users should once again tap Settings>General>About and then scroll down to carrier and check to see if Verizon 13.1 is displayed.

This issue could be a carryover from the Wi-Fi+Cellular feature that was in the beta version of iOS 6 and eliminated in the final one.
An iOS 6 Jailbreak for iPhone 5 users has reportedly surfaced in new images showing the device running it.
The pictures were released by Grant Paul, who provided a string of screen grabs on Twitter that showcase what appears to be Cydia installed on iOS 6. However, the authenticity in the pictures cannot be determined, according to YouMobile.org.
Paul claims the jailbreak took 30 minutes to perform and that it was easier to use on the iPhone 5 than on the 4S.
An iOS 6 jailbreak for iPhone 4 users is also now available.
The iPhone Dev-Team's Redsn0w jailbreak is now compatible with iOS 6 on several devices including the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the fourth generation iPod Touch.
This jailbreak is tethered, which means that the procedure has to be repeated every time an Apple device needs a reboot.
