iPad Mini Piano Ad Launched by Apple (VIDEO)

Apple has created a new video ad for the iPad Mini that displays a user playing with his GarageBand application.

It appears that he has turned his entire tablet into a full-fledged keyboard and plays out the melody to "Heart and Soul."

The user starts out playing on a full-sized iPad in his left hand and moves on to iPad Mini on his right hand.

Apple unveiled the shrunken down iPad at a special media event last month where the company also introduced the public to the fourth generation iPad.

The iPad Mini features a 7.9-inch 1024 x 768 display, making it slightly larger than many small tablet competitors, such as the Google Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HD.

Other specifications on the iPad Mini include 4G LTE connectivity, a dual-core A5 chipset, front Facetime camera, rear 5-megapixel camera, a Lightning connector, and a battery capable of lasting up to 10 hours.

It can be held in one hand and features tons of applications specifically designed for iPad users.

The iPad Mini comes in three memory capacities including a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

The Wi-Fi only model retails for $329, $429, and $529, pricing them slightly above their competitors, while the cellular versions will sell for $459, $559, and $659.

Apple began taking pre-orders for the iPad Mini last month and started shipping the devices on Nov. 2.

The company also shocked fans when they announced the 4th generation iPad that comes with a new A6X chip.

The new model not only packs a more powerful processor, but comes with Wi-Fi connectivity that is twice as fast and features the new, smaller lightning dock connector.

The release of the 4th iPad also caused Apple to drop the price on the third-geneneration model as the company now offers it for $379 refurbished.
