iPhone 5 Release: T-Mobile Just 'Waiting for the Call' to Launch Apple's Smartphone
The time for Apple to unveil the new iPhone 5 is quickly approaching and T-Mobile customers are still wondering if the smartphone will be available to them when it is released.
The CMO of the company, Cole Brodman originally shot down rumors of the iPhone 5 coming to T-Mobile, but by doing so, some analysts became skeptical since the carrier’s parent company Deutsche Telekom had already been offering pre-orders for the device in Germany.
Now Brodman seems to be singing a slightly different tune.

He admitted that T-Mobile is waiting for “that call” from Apple.
What this means is that T-Mobile receiving the iPhone is most likely in the hands of Apple.
Currently any iPhones running on T-Mobile's networks were purchased elsewhere.
But Brodman and T-Mobile have indicated that there is a chance the company would make the iPhone 5 available to its customers in the near future.
The rumors of the device coming to the network have been making their way around the internet since the middle of the summer.
Along with coming to T-Mobile, the iPhone 5 is expected to also be debuting on Sprint.
If the merger between AT&T and T-Mobile goes through, there is an even better chance of T-Mobile selling Apple’s next generation smartphone.
Android powered devices account for 90 percent of smartphone sales on T-Mobile.
The Google created system currently dominates the market thanks to it being available on multiple devices with all networks carrying at least one smartphone running on Android.
By Apple making the move to Sprint and following with another to T-Mobile, the company will likely gain some market share in the smartphone market.
The iPhone 5 will be unveiled at a media event on Apple’s campus in Cupertino, California on October 4.
