Jason Aldean released a new album "Old Boots, New Dirt" in which he thanks God as well as his new fiancée and family this week.

Two years ago, Aldean was photographed kissing Kerr, an "American Idol" contestant, despite still being married to his high school sweetheart, Jessica Ussery. The country music star went on to admit to the cheating scandal, and subsequently ended his marriage. Today, Aldean and Kerr are engaged to be married, and the "Big Green Tractor" singer acknowledged his affair with the 26-year-old in the booklet for his new album.

"First of all, I wanna thank God for this AMAZING career He has blessed me with over these last nine years," the singer began before citing his two daughters with Ussery, Keeley and Kendyl.

"My two babies Keeley and Kendyl, I'm so proud of you and the little ladies you have turned into," Aldean added. "Words could never describe how much I love you guys."

The multi-platinum singer went on to express his love and gratitude for his bride-to-be, citing their difficult past including the extra-marital affair.

"Britt, I can't tell you how happy I am to have you in my life," Aldean wrote of his fiancée. "We have been through hell and back, and it has only made us stronger. I love you, baby doll."

Aldean also offered thanks to his parents as well as friends and family who loved and supported him through the recording of "Old Boots, New Dirt." However, the album booklet was not the first time Aldean addressed his affair with Kerr.

"It has been two years of this s---," get it over it already, the singer told Billboard magazine, referring to his online critics that followed the controversial cheating scandal. "And then when I finally do get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I'm not trying to get in the headlines, I'm just trying to get people to stop running their mouths."

Meanwhile, Aldean promoted his new album with an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday, Oct. 8. There, the country music star performed "Just Getting' Started," the lead track from his sixth album.
