Is Justin Bieber Seeking Redemption After Alleged Mariah Yeater Scandal Shocked Fans?
An autographed guitar, previously owned by Canadian-born singer Justin Bieber, is up for auction on eBay to fund local food bank Winnipeg Harvest.
Bieber, who lived in Winnipeg with his father for part of his life, has a personal connection with food banks.
He told nighttime talk show Jay Leno that when he was a child, his mother would visit the local food bank in Stratford during the Christmas season.

"I was less fortunate. I didn't get to have a lot, so we used to go there," Bieber told Leno.
Bidding on the collector's item opened this morning.
"This acoustic Taylor guitar is ready to play and features Justin's autograph, which he personally signed while in Winnipeg, on the lower body of the instrument," states the eBay site.
Bieber originally gave the guitar to Kenny Boyce, manager of film and special events at Winnipeg's City Hall. Boyce then decided to donate the guitar’s proceeds to the food bank.
"A perfect holiday gift for a Justin Bieber fan!" tweeted Kenny Boyce on Nov. 15.
Critics question if Bieber's generous contribution is a redemption attempt after a paternity scandal tainted the singer's reputation two weeks ago.
California resident Mariah Yeater accused Bieber of fathering her child when she had a romantic tryst with the pop icon after one of his shows last October.
Bieber's legal team promised to "vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to protect Justin and hold those involved with bringing this suit accountable for their actions."
According to TMZ, Yeater has dropped the paternity suit towards Bieber, and her lawyers have stopped representing her altogether.
