Kanye West Keeping Mouth Shut for 'At Least' 6 Months

Controversial rapper Kanye West has said quite a few things throughout his career, things that have cost him fans and favor in the public eye. Yet now West has said that he will keep his mouth shut "for six months, at least."

"Everything I'm saying that's not allowed, soak it in right now," West told fans in Toronto during the last stop of his Yeezus Tour. "This may be the last time y'all hear me talk [expletive] for a long time. Might be another six months. At least. You're just gonna have to run back the interviews and [expletive] if you wanna hear some realness!"

West is busy focusing on his career and relationship with Kim Kardashian; it remains to be seen whether he will settle down any once the Yeezus tour comes to an end and he is back with his family.

"I'm gonna tell y'all right now that all of the ideas, what they call the rants the streams of consciousness that I express, I told y'all, save those tapes and everything because I've decided to completely focus everything in 2014, on new ideas and on creative outlets. I'm not [going to] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I'll bring them up is in a positive light," West explained.

This comes after West claimed that Nike executive Mark Parker "just lost culture. Everyone at Nike, everyone at Nike, Mark Parker just let go of culture." He was upset that Nike would not concede to his demands on production of his newest shoes and left the company to work with Adidas.

And of course, no one can forget the time that West interrupted Taylor Swift during her Grammy acceptance speech and stated that he was upset that Beyonce did not win. More recently, West was upset that his latest album only earned him two Grammy nominations, when he clearly thought he deserved more.

"The Grammys, they nominated me with two Grammys," he said. "Yeezus, the most highly reviewed album of the [expletive] year! I'll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win."
