Katy Perry Not Ready for Baby

Katy Perry says she’s not ready for a baby, fueling re-occurring rumors her marriage to Russell Brand may be in jeopardy.

Perry who was recognized for having multiple number one singles on one album at Sunday night’s American Music Awards spoke candidly with The Insider where she addressed pregnancy rumors.

"I like In-N-Out burger and Taco Bell. If you want to make that pregnant then that's your problem."

When asked specifically if she was pregnant Perry said, "Not yet...I still like drinking alcohol."

Perry recently announced she will be taking time off next year to focus on starting a family with her husband, but many are saying the marriage is actually in trouble and suggest she is trying to save face.

Reports from the UK’s Daily Mail insinuate Perry’s marriage is on the rocks, following reports that distance has become a problem for the star studded couple who frequently travel to fulfill their individual work commitments.

Perry is believed to have confided in musician Tore Nissen, Mail Online quoted a source as saying, “Tore has been a shoulder to cry on for Katy…they get along well, so much so that his girlfriend became suspicious and joined him on the tour.”

Earlier this year the internet was abuzz with pictures of Brand affectionately touching Sadie Turner, a woman who sources claim is just a friend.

InTouch magazine even quoted a source apparently close to the couple as saying, “He and Sadie are together on a regular basis and even hang out at each other’s houses,” leading to speculation that the troubled actor was cheating.

Brand who has previously suffered both sex and alcohol addiction once humorously spoke about Perry’s positive influence on his life in an interview with Piers Morgan saying, “‘I can’t believe I used to have sex 20 times a week, especially now I’m married. But now I’m a bloody good gardener."
