Kenya Moore Apologizes For Texting Phaedra Parks' Husband

Kenya Moore, "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" television personality and former Miss USA, is officially apologizing for text messaging the husband of her fellow cast member Phaedra Parks.

Apollo Nida, Parks' husband and father of her two sons, initially denied sending messages to Moore that were not business related and even accused the former beauty queen of attempting to form an inappropriate relationship with him on the season five reunion of the show. However, Moore insisted that Nida initiated the text messages while clarifying that they were not inappropriate as she previously suggested on the show.

Still, she recently appeared on The Wendy Williams' Show where she took some responsibility for the matter.

"Considering everything, I was absolutely wrong because I know that me and his wife fell out. We weren't friends," Moore told Williams. "He initiated the texts but I returned the texts and they were friendly, so I apologize for that. I apologize to the world. I was wrong."

Parks' friend and fellow cast member Kandi Burruss appeared on the talk show with Moore and suggested that she may have taken things too far by referring to Nida as "babe" in their text messages.

The former beauty queen explained her actions.

"It was an answer, it was like 'yes babe.' But I didn't use the word baby," Moore said on the talk show. "I think it's ridiculous to think you can never text a married person of the opposite sex."

Moore detailed the content of her and Nida's text messages earlier this year.

"Apollo and I had initially communicated via group text and emails when collaborating on the workout video," Moore revealed on the Bravo TV blog. "We were amiable to one another even after the deal fell through and remained cordial. Despite his desperate outburst, neither of us acted inappropriately."

Still, Moore said she was shocked when Nida made accusations about her acting inappropriately toward him on the reunion show.

"It was just as shocking for me to hear him make accusations that I, in effect, propositioned him. So shocking that I had to laugh at just how contrived and rehearsed it was," Moore wrote. "Beyond a shadow of a doubt, I'm certain Apollo was coached by Phaedra. Hence why I showed my phone with all the texts to Andy to prove my innocence and offered to pass it around for full and transparent disclosure."
