Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom to Film Reality Show in Dallas After NBA Trade

Khloe Kardashian and husband Lamar Odom are taking their reality show "Khloe and Lamar" to Dallas.

After it was revealed that the former Los Angeles Lakers power forward was being traded to the Dallas Mavericks, fans were left speculating whether the couple's L.A.-based reality show would be canceled.

According to TMZ, a source close to the couple confirmed the show will go on and the couple's move from L.A. to Dallas will be filmed.

"Cameras will follow it all," the source told TMZ.

Last week The Christian Post reported that Odom was left in tears after it was revealed that he was being traded to the New Orleans Hornets, for all-star guard Chris Paul.

NBA officials reportedly killed the deal after considering the terms of the new collective-bargaining agreement, which a league spokesman denied.

"They don’t want my services, for whatever reason...I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I was proud to be a Laker, so I’ll try to help them in the process as much as possible," Odom complained to Brad Turner of The L.A. Times.

It was reported that Odom began questioning whether he and his wife's reality show may have influenced his team's decision to trade him.

Sources suggest the Lakers were unimpressed with Odom's decision to sign on for “Khloe and Lamar,” arguing that the show had become a distraction for the former Laker.

The claims forced former teammate Kobe Bryant to come to Odom's defense.

“To be honest with you, I don’t like it," Bryant told reporters.

"I don't get it. I don't understand that. He had his best season last season, clearly it wasn't a distraction, and he played his ass off. I don't get where that comes from," Bryant added.

Soon after the initial trade was canceled, Odom received word that he was being traded to the Dallas Mavericks.

Although Odom did not take news of the trade too well, with wife Khloe admitting on Twitter that they were both “sad,” Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle is excited.

"Right now, for me, having Odom, Dirk Nowitzki, Shawn Marion, we may have the best forward trio in this league right now. And that's exciting," Carlisle said to ESPN.

The couple's new life in Dallas is expected to be a main plot line in their reality show, along with their quest to get pregnant through IVF.
