Kim Kardashian: Bruce Jenner Says Next Guy Must Go Through Me
On a recent episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Kim Kardashian's stepfather Bruce Jenner said the next guy who is interested in dating the heartbroken reality star has "got to go through me." Kim Kardashian's marriage to the New Jersey Nets basketball star lasted a mere 72 days.
Jenner told DeGeneres he "can tell if it's going to work or not" when he meets a boyfriend of his stepdaughters. Jenner said "I had my questions." Jenner explained that he was hopeful the marriage would work out because he felt Kim was ready to get married and start a family, though his biggest concern is that she would even say yes when Humphries proposed.
In the back of my head I said, "I don't know if she is going to say yes. But it's not my decision. Go for it," he said reminiscing on the day Humphries took him golfing and asked for Jenner's permission to marry his stepdaughter.

"Maybe we should start questioning some of their decisions," he says about his children which also includes Kourtney Kardashian, 32, Khloé Kardashian, 27, Rob Kardashian, 24, Kendall Jenner, 16, and Kylie Jenner, 14.
His wife Kris Jenner says she doesn't second guess her children's decisions. "It's our job to support them, so I don't question some of their decisions," she says. "Obviously, we have internal conversations … 'What the hell are you doing?'"
Some of these internal conversations likely were sparked by Khloe Kardashian, who says she didn't like Humphries from when they first met. Humphries was quick to judge her quick marriage, one month after dating Dallas Mavericks NBA star Lamar Odom.
"I personally didn't mesh well with Kris before they got married. The very first time I met him he said, 'No one gets married after 30 days. How much longer are you gunna put up with this charade for?' That's kind of rude. He just rubbed me up the wrong way. My guard was up because I wasn't crazy about him."
Khloe says she even told Kim that she felt that Humphries was not right for her.
"I gave my opinion. Which everyone saw in the wedding special! We're sisters. I'm very honest, I'll tell you how I feel. With Kim I said my piece. I want her to be happy, and if that makes her happy then fine."
