Kim Kardashian Divorce: Humphries' Father Lashes Out

Just a week after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, Kris Humphries' father is saying Kardashian did not give any warning that she wanted a divorce.

William Humphries told Life & Style magazine: "There was never a discussion about it - it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris. How could someone do that?"

Humphries also said the news of the divorce was released before Kris found out. Kardashian's representatives claim Humphries knew his wife was filing for divorce.

A friend of Humphries told the magazine that Kris questioned his wife's motives.

"Kris has started wondering if Kim just looked at him as good for 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' ratings," said the friend.

Another friend said he would not sign the papers due to his religious beliefs.

"He's not signing...He does not believe in divorce," said the friend.

Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries last Monday, citing irreconcilable differences, after just 72 days of marriage.

The couple married in late August in one of the biggest celebrity events of the year.

The reality television star celebrated her marriage with 450 guests, including singer Ciara, tennis star Serena Williams and actress Lindsay Lohan. Her sisters Kourtney and Khloe were bridesmaids at the event, which Khloe called "perfect."

Since the news of the divorce, some speculated the marriage and multi-million dollar wedding was simply a publicity stunt. However, Kardashian recently denied the claim and said she wanted to have children.

"I want a family, babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon," said Kardashian to the Sun.

The Hollywood starlet flew to Minnesota over the weekend to meet with her husband and a pastor. Reports said she apologized to Humphries' family during the trip.
