Kim Kardashian Divorce: Staged Reality Show 'Normal Procedure'

Attorneys for Kris Humphries are accused of leaking court documents to a U.S. tabloid amid his ongoing divorce battle against Kim Kardashian. Now the reality TV star is said to be fed-up with the alleged mudslinging.

Russell Jay, who is a producer on Kardashian's reality TV show, was recently called to testify under oath in Kardashian's divorce case Thursday, court documents obtained by Life & Style magazine revealed. He reportedly confirmed Humphries' claims that some scenes were "scripted, reshot or edited" in order to portray the NBA star in a negative light.

"This is normal operating procedure on any reality show," a source told The New York Post.

Kardashian infamously filed for divorce in 2011 after just 72 days of marriage and Humphries is refusing to sign the divorce papers. The Brooklyn Nets star is insisting on an annulment of their marriage based on fraud.

"None of this shows fraud, which is what Kris is trying to prove. His entire case is based on the premise that he is the stupidest person on the planet," the insider sniped.

Humphries, 28, reportedly believes that he was duped by Kardashian, whom he claims married him only to boost her status and for financial gain. If Humphries is successful, the case could ultimately ruin Kardashian's brand.

"He's just trying to make her miserable," the source speculated.

Kardashian, who is 17 weeks pregnant with her first child, will soon be forced to testify in the divorce case and Humphries will reportedly be present when that happens. The deposition will reportedly be videotaped.

"Kim's deposition is now scheduled. It will take place in the next two weeks at her lawyer Laura Wasser's office," a source told RadarOnline. "It's scheduled to take all day, and Kim has been dreading it."

Humphries' attorneys reportedly presented Kardashian with an offer prior to the courtroom battle, but she is believed to have declined.

"The only way that this case won't go to trial is if Kim publicly apologizes to Kris and admits that she only married him for television ratings," an insider previously explained. "Kris just wants the truth to come out and Kim is just absolutely livid that she isn't getting her own way."
