Kim Kardashian Wedding: Star Says Marriage Was 'Best Time in My Life'

Marie Claire Publishes Kardashian 'Marriage' Interview Weeks After Star Files for Divorce

Kim Kardashian looks wholesome and fresh-faced on the December issue Marie Claire cover, while the headline to the right of her face reads "Kim Kardashian Reveals What Went On In Her Crazy Marriage."

The interview in the magazine, however, is not centered on Kardashian's divorce. Rather, the interview was conducted only a few weeks after Kardashian married her husband of 72 days, Kris Humphries.

"I'm not worried about him at all. We have a lot of trust, and I don't think either of us would do anything to break that. It makes life so easy," she told Marie Claire.

"I feel like where we're at right now is the best time in my life," she added.

Details regarding Kardashian's divorce were added last-minute to the interview.

Many critics are calling the interview a time-capsule piece, as well as a lesson in bad timing.

Kardashian announced a divorce from her husband on Monday, Oct. 31. Due to the marriage's short shelf life, critics have questioned whether Kardashian married for publicity with a $10 million lavish ceremony in Montecito.

"I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this," Kardashian blogged after her divorce announcement.

Although under public scrutiny, Kardashian continues to receive the support of her family.

"My sister is obviously going through a lot and we're obviously very supportive of whatever decision she makes," said Rob Kardashian to E! Entertainment.

"People have to calm down for a minute and realize no one's doing anything crazy, it's just a horrible, horrible situation. I feel bad for the kids," said mother Kris Jenner on the "Johnjay and Rich" radio show.

She also added that allegations concerning Kardashian's motives for marriage "couldn't be further from the truth."

After TMZ announced it had attained documents citing Kardashian's divorce from Humphries on Monday, Oct. 31, Kardashian released a statement to on her blog, confirming the rumors.

"After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage," Kardashian said.

"I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things do not work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best," she added.

Kardashian cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for her split from spouse Humphries.

Kardashian and Humphries share a prenuptial agreement, which will prove a financially wise decision, as TMZ estimated Kardashian's worth to be $35 million and Humphries' worth $8 million.

Sources claim celebrity lawyer Laura Wasser will represent Kardashian in the divorce proceedings.
