Kim Kardashian’s Wedding Look: Iman and Twitter React
Supermodel Iman has expressed surprise over Kim Kardashian wearing a diamond headpiece during her nuptials on Saturday, as mixed opinions flood Twitter.
The fashion entrepreneur spoke to InStyle about Kardashian’s Lorraine Schwartz headpiece at the launch of her Platinum collection for HSN in New York Tuesday.
“When she pulls her hair back she looks so classic, so I thought she would pick something more classic,” said Iman. “But then I thought, it’s her fairytale. It’s her wedding. She can do what she wants, and she did!”

Iman was not the only person to sound off about Kardashian’s diamond headpiece. In what turned out to be the celebrity happening of the season, thousand of comments flooded Twitter about the Kardashian/Humphries wedding, and reactions included mixed emotions about the sparkly head ornament.
“Whyyy Kim K why did you wear that silly head thing at your wedding? Ugh, I feel satisfied that you looked silly. #lovehate,” said Twitter user Molly.
“Seriously, Kim Kardashian is the most gorgeous person in the entire world. She looked amazing at her wedding,” said Christine on Twitter.
Amanda disapproved of Kim’s wedding look, writing, “Did anyone else think Kim Kardashian’s headpiece looked trashy? I know it was diamonds, but it looked cheap and stupid to me.”
“I’m a bit puzzled by the headpiece Kim Kardashian wore to her wedding. It reminds me of what people wore in the 80’s,” wrote Kelly.
Maple tweeted, “Her head piece was absolutely stunning,” in response to E! Online’s question on Twitter, “Kim Kardashian’s Blinging Bridal Headpiece: Do You Like?”
The reality television star of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” exchanged vows with NBA star Kris Humphries on Saturday in front of 450 guests. Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, attended as bridesmaids.
The ceremony was followed by a reception which featured live music from singer Robin Thicke and catering by Wolfgang Puck.
The day after the wedding, Kim Kardashian wrote on her Twitter account, “God is good.”
Saturday night, Kourtney Kardashian tweeted, “What a spectacular night! My sister is married, so excited for Kim and Kris. Memories to last forever.”
“Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event,” which will reveal behind-the-scenes look at the event, will air October 9 and 10 on E! Network.
