Kris Humphries Family Looked 'Appalled' at Kim Kardashian Wedding

By now everyone knows that NBA-star Kris Humphries married his short-term reality star love, Kim Kardashian this past weekend.

The media went crazy over the big day with speculative stories on what the bride’s dresses would look like, how she would wear her hair, and what elaborate surprises the event had in store.

Since the big day, Kardashian has come out to tell People magazine that she felt “like a princess” and that the wedding made the couple feel, “Like we were in heaven.”

However, reports are surfacing that the exclusive mansion, Swarovski crystals, over-the-top gifts, and three Vera Wang gowns did not dazzle everyone.

Insiders are coming out now to discuss their dismay with the previously dubbed “royal wedding number two.”

One guest said, “It was so hard to take it all seriously.”

Another added, “Everybody felt awkward, like it was all for the cameras and more like a TV show wedding.”

Although some insiders did not feel comfortable at the lavish event, Us Weekly has reported that unfortunately, some of the most important guests also had issues with the celebration.

US reported that Humphries’s family, “mostly looked appalled by the entire thing,” even though they cheered when the couple became man and wife.

If true, Humphries clearly did not feel the same way as his family, and seemed to be thrilled with the celebration telling People, “I’m going to remember how perfect it was.”

Since the wedding, the pair has taken off to Europe for a “mini-honeymoon” before they both return to New York for another celebration and to get back to work.

Fans can look at photos of the wedding that are being published in People this week, and can watch the wedding this fall in a two-part special entitled, Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, on E!
