Twist, the 21-year-old rapper who was born Christopher Moore, previously spoke out about Braun on Twitter last year, accusing the manager of painting him in a negative light in the media.

"Side stay squeaky clean... And I took that... But with that being said.. (expletive) u Scooter and everything u stand for.. And all yo fake stories," Twist tweeted previously.

Twist was arrested last year for being under the influence of marijuana, according to E! News reports. The rapper was driving alone in Bieber's Fisker Karma and drove 69 mph in a 45 mph zone that led to the singer's gated community in California, according to E! News.

The publication was informed about the matter from LASD spokesperson Steve Whitmore. Bieber's vehicle was towed after Lil Twist was taken into custody and held on $5,000 bail. This is not the first time that Lil Twist has been reprimanded by authorities while driving Bieber's vehicle.

Months before the incident, the rapper was caught speeding behind the wheel of Bieber's car.

"Police pulled Twist over as he roared out of Bieber's gated community in Calabasas, but they let him off with just a warning," sources affiliated with law enforcement reportedly told TMZ.

Some have questioned Lil Twist's influence on the singer for months. However, the rapper and singer have both defended their union.

"I'm no influence, and I'm not running round claiming to be this role model… I live life, I'm a young adult who makes mistakes, (expletive) ups, #baddecisions , whatever u wanna call them like the rest of the (expletive) civilians in America," Twist wrote on the social media picture sharing website Instagram last year. "But it makes u more of a bad person to sit home and judge someone u haven't took the time to learn about."
