Lindsay Lohan Rehab and Struggle to Be Featured on OWN: $2 Million Deal Booked

Lindsay Lohan agreed to speak to Oprah Winfrey for a hefty fee of $2 million, according to reports this week.

The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) has been in talks with Lohan about a sit-down interview for months, but she finally landed a deal on Monday.

According to sources close to Lohan, the troubled actress will not only speak to Winfrey, but OWN will release an 8-part "docu-series" based on her life, reported TMZ.

"OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014," an OWN spokesperson confirmed, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Furthermore, Lohan will be paid $2 million for doing the interview as well as the mini-series.

However, OWN and Lohan cannot begin working until the actress is out of rehab. The 27-year-old starlet is currently serving a 90-day court-ordered stay in order to kick her addiction to Adderall.

Her troubles do not end there. Last year, Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service for misdemeanor theft and probation violation in February 2011 after stealing a necklace from a jewelry store, and has been involved in a number of run-ins with the law this year as well.

The post-rehab interview with OWN is a break from Lohan's latest projects, which have all been scripted.

The actress recently guest-starred on both "Glee" and "Anger Management," and appeared in Lifetimes's made-for-TV-movie "Liz & Dick."

Moreover, Lohan's film "The Canyons" hits theaters on Aug. 2.

The actress' first post-rehab interview with be another top mark for OWN, which has scored sought-after sit-downs with high profile people including Lance Armstrong during his doping scandal and Rihanna who addressed the assault case involving Chris Brown.

Lohan's rehabilitation stay is scheduled to conclude on July 31.
