Lolo Jones Defends Herself Amid Backlash From Rihanna Diss
Lolo Jones is defending herself after receiving backlash for dissing singer Rihanna.
Jones, the 31-year-old Olympic hurdler and bobsledding athlete, recently poked fun of rapper Drake and Rihanna who are rumored to be dating. After it was announced that Drake will host the 2014 ESPY awards, Jones decided to make light of the situation.
"It's amazing that Drake is hosting the @Espys but it's gonna be tough for him to hand out all those awards to Rihanna's ex boyfriends," Jones wrote.

After she received some backlash from the singer's fans after making fun of Rihanna who reportedly used to date MLB player Matt Kemp, Jones defended herself.
"Paleeeze. watching monologues of past espys, my joke was PG compared to how The ESPY Host will roast athletes there (SIC)," Jones wrote on Twitter.
Drake recently spoke about his excitement for hosting the upcoming sports awards show.
"It's been a dream of mine for a long time," Drake said during ESPN's NBA Countdown recently. "I watched a guy that I look up to in every aspect of life, Jamie Foxx, do it and I always say if I can follow in his footsteps that'll be a great career for me, so I was blessed with the opportunity to do it. SNL gave me the confidence to do it."
The ESPYs is a live show that will air July 16 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old rapper previously spoke to Rolling Stone about his thoughts on Rihanna.
"She's the ultimate fantasy. I mean, I think about it. Like, 'Man, that would be good,"Drake said in the February 2014 issue of the magazine. "We have fun together, she's cool and (expletive) but we're just friends. That's my dog for life."
He told the publication about his new outlook on dating.
"I'm not after (expletive) like I was three years ago, when I was trying to make up for all the years when no girl would talk to me," he said. "But I haven't met somebody that makes everybody else not matter."
After a number of appearances together when the pair have been holding hands, hugging and kissing, many are wondering if Rihanna has become that woman in his life.
