Lolo Jones Seeks to Put Jesus Ahead of Earthly Desires
Lolo Jones wants to desire God more meaning her dreams for a husband, Olympic gold medal, home and car may be put on the back burner.
Jones, the 32-year-old Olympic hurdler and bobsledding athlete, has been vocal about her Christianity for some time. Most recently, she shared how Jesus is more than enough for her, despite other possible desires.
"Even if I never get my Prince Charming, Jesus you are my Prince Charming. Jesus you are enough," Jones wrote. "Even if I never win an Olympics, Jesus you are my victory. Jesus you are enough."

She went on to put Jesus first in other coveted areas of her life.
"Even If I never own a home, Jesus you are my refuge. Jesus you are enough," Jones wrote. "Even If I don't have a car, Jesus you walk with me. Jesus you are enough."
She concluded by writing, "Whatever I desire, I want to desire God more. #noIdols."
Earlier this year, the Olympic athlete embarked on a three week fast where she spoke about seeking God's promises.
"I want all that God promised for me in 2015," Jones wrote. "21 days of prayer and Fasting."
The Christian athlete invited others to take part in the fast with her.
"Join me as I dedicate the first part of my year to hearing from God," Jones wrote. "I encourage you as well to set aside some earthly distraction for 21 days to hear more from the Lord. #socialMediaDetox #prayer #fasting #alreadyCravingaBurgeriRebukeYouSatan."
She returned to Twitter after the fast to encourage people not to stress.
"Lighten your anxiety. When Prayers go up, Stress goes down," Jones previously captioned a photograph of herself on Instagram with the scripture 1 Peter 5:7 which reads, "Cast all your worries on him, because He cares for you."
