Lorene Scafaria, Ashton Kutcher Heat Things Up

Rumor has it that Ashton Kutcher and Lorene Scafaria are more than just friends. While Demi Moore has been away at rehab and a subsequent vacation, the two have been spotted getting close.

Kutcher and Scafaria were seen in Los Angeles this week, headed with a group of friends to Ultrazone. Rumors surrounding the couple began almost immediately after Kutcher split with Demi Moore, and the new couple was spotted in Italy over the holidays.

Following the rumors, Kutcher's reps made a statement confirming that the couple was just friends.

Scafaria is a screenwriter that has made contributions to films like "Nick and Norah's Playlist." She and Kutcher were reportedly seen being openly endearing.

"They were affectionate," an insider told Us Weekly. "When they thought no one was watching, they held hands, and she rubbed his back and his neck." The couple was also seen exchanging kisses.

Despite the difficult break-up and Moore's subsequent visit to rehab, Kutcher has remained supportive of Moore's daughter Rumer Willis. The 23-year-old took the stage this week with a band to sing a few cover songs, with Kutcher in the audience for support.

"Ashton came on his own and he was there from the beginning to the end. He provided a real cool, unassuming, supportive and stable presence for Rumer, who was obviously a little nervous," a source told Radar Online.

"Ashton and Rumer had a short talk before she went on stage and you could tell he was pepping her up and building her confidence and then when she started singing his whole face lit up," the insider added.

Moore left rehab at the beginning of March and has since been on vacation at an undisclosed location. "She's in no rush to get back to L.A.," a source told E! News. "She's on total lockdown and only talking to a small group of people."
