NASA satellites were able to capture the New Mexico fire closing in on the small town of Los Alamos from outer space.
NASA's Terra and Aqua satellites snapped images of the Las Conchas fire, which has burned more than 80,000 acres so far and has extended itself dangerously close to land near Los Alamos in the north-central part of New Mexico.
