Madonna Golden Globes: Winner 'Looks Great'

In addition to earning a Golden Globe at last night's award ceremony, Madonna retaliated against Ricky Gervais, while earning Katy Perry's adoration.

Ricky Gervais hosted the 69th Golden Globes Sunday, and in presenting the 53-year-old superstar, he introduced Madonna as "the Queen of pop."

"She's all woman," said Gervais ahead of Madonna taking the stage. "I'll give you some clues: she's always vogue. She's a material girl. And she's like a virgin," as the British comedian sarcastically coughed.

Mounting the stage, Madonna retaliated against the playful 50-year-old.

"If I'm still like a virgin Ricky, then why don't you come over here and do something about it?" The singer added, "I haven't kissed a girl in a few years."

Making her directorial debut in "W.E." Madonna earned the Golden Globe for Best Original Song with "Masterpiece" in the film.

The award winning actress and singer was not only honored for "W.E." but for "looking good."

Katy Perry took to Twitter expressing her opinion of Madonna during the Golden Globes, writing, "Madge looks goooood (sic.) I'd tap that."

The "California Gurlz" singer tweeted her compliment right as Madonna took the stage to accept the Globe for Best Original Song.

Perry was not the only celebrity to comment on Madge. Also posting her thoughts on the superstar, LeAnn Rimes wrote, "Kinda digging Madonna bringing back the one glove… w/ lots of bling of course!"

"Madonna… seems to have picked up… Siri's speech cadence," joked Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks.

Also commenting on Madonna's speaking voice, Perez Hilton wrote, "It's so nice that Madonna is embracing her American accent again!"

Madonna will perform during the halftime show at the Super Bowl on Feb. 5. The Golden Globe winner is set to release her new album, "M.D.N.A.," in March.
