Marc Anthony, J. Lo to Mend Ties With Joint Clothing Line, TV Show?

Despite having ended their seven-year marriage, performers Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez are attempting to maintain a relationship by continuing to work together. The divorced couple recently launched clothing lines and have been working on a realty television show.

Lopez announced to People Magazine in July that she and Anthony were divorcing.

The former couple's joint clothing line, to be exclusively sold at Kohl's department store, was launched on Wednesday.

"We are thrilled to be the exclusive retailer for the Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Collections, and proud to be able to partner with two, globally-recognized entertainers who are also known for their great style," Kohl's chairman, Kevin Mansell said in a statement.

The lines include the Jennifer Lopez Collection and the Marc Anthony Collection.

Anthony, who was in New Jersey on Wednesday to commemorate the launch of his clothing line, noted that he was "proud" of Lopez and "happy about her line."

Much speculation has surrounded the public split of Anthony and Lopez, including rumors that Anthony had an affair with his "Hawthorne" co-star Jada Pinkett Smith.

Anthony however insists that the split from Lopez was mutual, amicable and not as "sensationalistic" as the media has made it out to be.

In a recent interview with John Quinones of ABC News, Anthony stated that he and Lopez are committed to maintaining a solid relationship despite no longer being married.

"We realized very, very early on that even though we're not together this story's not over. There's stuff to do together, there's life to see together, through Max and Emme, so it's all good man," he told Quinones.

Their clothing lines are not the only aspect in which the two continue to collaborate.

In July it was announced that Lopez and Anthony plan to move forward with production of their reality show "Q'viva: The Chosen!" The show is a singing and dance competition that focuses on Latin music and is scheduled to debut in 2012.
