Mark Wahlberg to Lose the Tattoos in Favor of Children
Hollywood A-lister and former hip-hop superstar Mark Wahlberg is trying to set a good example for his children by removing every tattoo he has from his body.
Wahlberg showed off some of his progress on "The Late Show" with David Letterman as he pulled up his pants to reveal his leg.
He has gone for more than 30 sessions despite doctors telling him it would take five to seven laser sessions to remove the tats.

"That was a disaster," Wahlberg said of his first hospital visit. "It was like all these big welts and pus-bubbles."
The actor is going through all of this to set an example for his kids.
"I stopped smoking weed for my kids," he said early last year according to StarPulse. "One day, we were driving and you could smell it from somewhere. My daughter asked what the smell was so I told her it was a skunk. Then she said, 'Sometimes Daddy smells like that!' to me and my wife. So I knew I had to quit."
This morning he told Matt Lauer on the "Today Show," "I don't want to have my kids getting tattoos... I’m taking my two oldest kids with me to the procedure, where they can see how painful that is."
According to StarPulse, Wahlberg has five or six tattoos. Sylvester the Cat with Tweety on his ankle, the initials "MW" along with his last name on the upper right arm, a Bob Marley portrait with "One Love" on his left arm, and "In God I Trust" over his heart with a rosary and crucifix around his neck.
"[They] all have meaning to me, but you know it's both personal and professional," he said on the "Today Show."
Wahlberg was known for his crazy party hard ways in the early 90s as a Calvin Klein model and rapper for Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
In the late 90s he began to clean up his image as well as forge a solid acting career for himself.
Prior to his fame he was a troubled youth who spent some time in jail.
