Mary Mary's Erica Campbell Reacts to Sister's Marriage Woes

Erica Campbell, one half of the Grammy Award-winning gospel music duo Mary Mary, believes God was testing she and her sister Tina, who will publicly deal with her husband's extramarital affairs on the third season of their show.

"I didn't want to watch my sister go through that," Erica says in the March issue of Sister 2 Sister magazine. "Then realizing that it was happening at the same time that I was going solo, it was like, 'Wow, God, shouldn't this have happened another way?' But sometimes He allows things and it feels like a test but it's going to make you stronger."

Fans of the WEtv reality television series "Mary Mary" will witness the ordeal unfold on the show that premieres later this month. In a new trailer for the series, Tina is expressing some of her concerns with touring amid her marital woes.

"Whenever I'm on the road, I think about what my husband did to me. He was unfaithful to me while I was on the road," Tina reveals in a new trailer for the reality show's third season. "So I've got to wonder, 'Since you got caught, are you faithful now? Do you really mean that you want to be a better man to me? Or are you still who you were?'"

The gospel singer does not shy away from revealing her heartbreak on the show.

"I'm broken. My heart is crushed," she says in a preview of the show. "I gotta get on the stage and I gotta act like everything is all good, and it's not all good! I'm dying inside! I need all the help that God can give because my situation is tore up. "

Last year Tina thanked her fans for their support during her public marital issues.

Tina, 39, is married to gospel drummer Teddy Campbell, 38, who has also worked as the percussionist for "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. The singer first opened up about her husband's previous infidelities in the June issue of Ebony magazine and let fans, friends and family know how she was working to resolve the issue on ilovemarymary.com.

After calling for fans to help the pair fast and pray last year, Tina later created a YouTube video with Erica to speak about her well being.

"God is blessing and my life is changing for the better," she said last year. "So thank you all of you who have been praying for me. I appreciate you."
