Michelle Williams Super Bowl Claims Proven False?

Michelle Williams, one-third of the R&B group Destiny's Child, has denied that she will join Beyonce Knowles during the Super Bowl halftime show, but TravelZoo.com may just be calling her bluff.

Williams,32-year-old singer and actress who is slated to star in the musical "Fela," recently spoke about Destiny's Child performing at Super Bowl XVII being nothing more than rumors.

"It is rumored," Williams told WRUG radio recently. "I'm gonna be in the musical 'Fela!' I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."

Rumors about a Destiny's Child reunion began when Us Weekly reported that sources have unearthed Knowles' tracklisting for her highly publicized performance. It would include some solo songs before her transition into Destiny's Child tracks. The magazine reported that "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Survivor," and the group's new song "Nuclear."

While Williams is not ready to admit that she is engaging in any performance with Knowles and group member Kelly Rowland, TravelZoo.com seemed to hint at a highly publicized reunion among the trio at the Super Bowl.

The TravelZoo.com website is officially promoting the Fela! production that Williams stars in and they had a message for fans of the musical on its website.

"Destiny's Child's Michelle Williams stars in the Jan. 29-30 performances," the message on the website stated. "She will not be in the show Jan 31-Feb 3 due to the group's Super Bowl appearance."

The last time Destiny's Child performed together live was at the 2006 NBA All-Star Game when the group sang "The Star Spangled Banner." The group officially parted ways in 2005 when their "Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin' It Tour" concluded before focusing on their individual careers.

Knowles recently shared photographs of herself rehearsing for the upcoming Super Bowl performance, giving fans a glimpse of her rehearsals on Instagram. The official Super Bowl halftime show will take place on Feb 3.
