Rihanna Body Double Stirs Controversy

Many critics have accused Rihanna of using a body double in a racy advertisement for Emporio Armani this week.

Rihanna is known for showing a lot of skin, but new reports suggest that the Bajan pop star requested a body double to pose in the lingerie campaign.

The double stepped in for Rihanna during shots and close-ups of the rear end as well as chest in the ad where the star is having a nightmare in bed before putting on a pair of jeans.

It is rumored that Irish model Jahnassa Aicken appears in the advert as Rihanna's body double, reported the U.K.'s The Sun. Moreover, the model received a "modest sum" for the shoot.

"Jahnassa's torso, body, and bum appear in parts of the ad," an insider told The Sun.

The source added their surprise over Rihanna's decision to use a body double.

"It's shocking Rihanna wanted one, considering she loves posing with no clothes- plus she's in great shape," said the insider.

It would not be the first time Aicken has worked alongside Rihanna. The 27-year-old model was spotted on the Northern Ireland set of the music video for Rihanna's "We Found Love."

Rihanna's management has denied the claims, according to Fox News. Despite their claims, a spokesman from the Advertising Standards Authority, the U.K.'s advertising watchdog, said they are on the look-out.

"If we have complaints consumers have been misled by the use of a body double, we will investigate," assured the ASA rep.

Rihanna had made headlines recently for posting racy images on her Twitter account. Additionally, the pop star appeared topless in her music video for "Where Have You Been?"

Also, while shooting "We Found Love," a nearby farmer noted Rihanna's provocative outfit and requested that her work on his property cease.

"I thought it was inappropriate," explained Alderman Alan Graham speaking to BBC. "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends."

The Irish farmer later added, "Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."
