Rihanna, Chris Brown Relationship Like Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's?

Rihanna and Chris Brown seem to be on the mend after years of public scrutiny stemming from a domestic dispute three years ago, but the Barbadian pop star is reportedly likening their tumultuous relationship to that of the late singer Whitney Houston and ex-husband Bobby Brown.

Rihanna, 24, recently watched a music video created by the famous couple called "Something in Common" according to HollywoodLife.com reports. A source reportedly told HollywoodLife that the chart-topping singer saw some similarities between the former couple and her own romantic relationship.

"Their relationship is like the early Whitney and Bobby days," the source reportedly told Hollywood Life. "Ri was watching Bobby and Whitney's 'Something In Common' video the other day and said 'This is just like Chris and me. For real though, that's the type of fun we having right now. I love Whitney. She was my girl. Can't nobody do it better than her.'"

While the pair has been sharing intimate photographs of their bond on social networking websites like Twitter and Instagram recently, Rihanna made it clear that her relationship was nobody's business on a new collaborative song with Brown.

"Me and you, get it / Ain't nobody's business..There's no other love just like this ... I sing it to the world," the pair sings on the track that appears on her recently released seventh studio album titled "Unapologetic."

While Brown publicly broke things off with girlfriend Karrueche Tran before making appearances with Rihanna, he admitted that love was a big hurdle that he had to overcome in life.

"One thing people often want me to talk about is my public love life. When it comes to my love life, the perception seems as though I am a player. But that's not true ... love is something I am still learning," Brown said in a recent interview with XXL magazine. "It's just an obstacle that I haven't yet mastered. I think that's my biggest hurdle in life."
