Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date Pushed Back on T-Mobile and Sprint
The Samsung Galaxy S3 seems to be experiencing delays on two of the major U.S. carriers.
Both Sprint and T-Mobile have reported that some shipments of the smartphone will have to be pushed back due to an extremely high demand for the device and various complications.
Sprint recently stated that it is confident that the 16GB Galaxy S3 will be delivered on the original June 21 release date, however, some of the 32GB models will be pushed back to the following week.

"We are optimistic that we'll be shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-16GB pre-orders this week and that they will be delivered by June 21 as anticipated," said Sprint in a community post. "There is a chance however, that we may be a day or two late. We anticipate shipping all Samsung Galaxy S3-32GB pre-orders this week."
T-Mobile also had an announcement to make regarding the Galaxy S3 stating that it is seeing a high demand for the device and will launch it on June 21 for 29 select markets, while pushing the release date back to June 29 for everyone else.
These select markets include major cities such as New York, N.Y., Los Angeles, Calif., Houston, Texas, San Francisco, Calif., Denver, Colo., Cleveland, Ohio, Portland, Ore. and many more.
Sprint will offer the Galaxy S3 for $199 with a new 2-year contract and T-Mobile priced its version at $229 for customers on value plans with a 2-year agreement.
The highly anticipated smartphone will also launch for AT&T and Verizon.
Specifications on the Galaxy S3 include a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 4.0, TouchWiz, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.9-megapixel front shooter.
The device has already launched in various markets overseas and retails at $649.99 for the unlocked version.
