Samsung to Release Galaxy Note 8 Phablet at MWC (PHOTO)
Samsung will unveil the new Galaxy Note 8 phablet at this year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
The Galaxy Note 8 unveiling was confirmed by South Korea's iNews24 earlier this week and it will be announced by Samsung mobile head JK Shin.
Rumored features for the device include Android 4.2, JellyBean, a 1280x800 display, a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. It will also come both Wi-Fi only, and 3G.

A picture of the Galaxy Note 8 leaked this week, revealing the device's appearance. The image was posted by the Twitter account @clasficatearg. The specifications on the device in the picture match up to the ones that were leaked by iNews 24.
Other specifications revealed in the picture include a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, and the trademark S Pen.
Samsung's roadmap for 2013 was leaked by TechnoBuffalo today and the Galaxy Note 8 made another appearance with the same specifications that were found in the picture. With three sightings that appear to all match up, it is safe to say that all of this information is accurate relating to the upcoming phablet device and Galaxy enthusiasts will see it at MWC next month.
Other devices found in the company's roadmap include the Galaxy X Cover 2, Galaxy Young, Galaxy Pocket Plus, and the Chat 226.
The Galaxy X Cover 2 comes with mid-high specifications including a 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD display, dual 1 GHz processor, Android 4.1, JellyBean and a dustproof and water proof body.
Specifications for the Galaxy Young include a 3-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor, 3-megapixel camera, and dual-SIM capabilities.
The Galaxy Pocket Plus will feature a 2.8-inch HVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, 850 MHz processor, and Android 4.1, JellyBean.
The Chat 226 bears a striking resemblance to a BlackBerry and features a full QWERTY keyboard, VGA Camera, and a 2.2-inch QVGA screen.
