Scarlett Johansson Leaked Photos 2011 Scandal: Star Speaks Out on Fame and Privacy
Scarlett Johansson has appeared in a recorded interview with CNN's David McKenzie last night and discussed the price of fame on her privacy, especially in light of the recent nude photograph scandal where her mobile phone was hacked earlier this month.
McKenzie asked Johansson "You are in the limelight so much, why is it important for you to protect your privacy particularly when it comes to illegal acts to try and breach it?"
Johansson went on to talk about how celebrities were no different than anyone else, and even they needed privacy from the spotlight.

"Just because you're an actor or make films or whatever doesn't mean you're not entitled to your own personal privacy...if that's sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong," she said.
"There's certain incidences where you give a lot of yourself and then you finally just have to kind of put your foot down and say, 'no wait, I'm taking my privacy back'," she continued.
"The Avengers" and "Iron Man 2" star is not the first actress to have leaked private photos online. Vanessa Hudgens of "High School Musical" fame, Blake Lively of "Gossip Girl", singer Rihanna, and "Friends With Benefits" star Mila Kunis have all had their phones hacked and leaked.
Johansson was also on the show to discuss her latest trip to Africa where she is calling for "extreme action" in the Horn of Africa and the famine in Somalia after visiting as an ambassador for Oxfam, which is working in the Dadaab camp.
"I was first struck by the mass of it. The scale of poverty in Dadaab is overwhelming," Johansson said.
