'Situation' Lawsuit, Another One for 'Jersey Shore' Cast

Another member of the “Jersey Shore” cast has been hit with a lawsuit for failure to keep the terms of an agreement.

According to a report from the entertainment magazine TMZ the clothing line Serious Pimp filed the lawsuit claiming the Mike Sorrentino aka “The Situation” broke the deal he had made with the company.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sorrentino would get a $25,000 advance in return for promoting a line of T-shirts on the “Jersey Shore” as well as on Facebook, Twitter and other public venues.

The lawsuit states that Sorrentino and his brother had the right to approve the T-shirt designs, but they never communicated with the company. The suit claims the pair disappeared and could not be contacted. They also reportedly never returned the money they were advanced.

Serious Pimp planned on partnering with Sorrentino but due to the infractions want the money returned and the company is also seeking lost profits as well.

A rep for Situation's company MPS Entertainment told TMZ, all terms of the contract with Serious Pimp were completed and there was nothing further to discuss.

This was not the first time that Sorrentino has been sued. Last year the former managers for Sorrentino sued for wrongful termination and were seeking $1 million.

Gotham NYC Entertainment claimed Sorrentino breached their contract when he fired them last May for "lack of performance."

The management company says the “Jersey Shore” star failed to give them the required 30 day notice to resolve any conflicts before he terminated their services.

Gotham claimed they have served as Sorrentino's managers since “The Jersey Shore” premiered on MTV in 2009 and have helped him take "his career from relative obscurity to become an international celebrity, according to TMZ.

Though the $1 million suit is hanging over his head, the reality star reportedly makes an estimated $100,000 per episode.
