Tallulah Willis Talks Demi Moore and Body Image

Demi Moore's youngest daughter, Tallulah Willis, has opened up about what she has learned from her mother.

The 18-year-old noted her mother's advice on topics from fashion sense to body image while speaking to Stylist bloggers for StyleLikeU during a video interview.

"Growing up, it was our mom - she was just very much like, 'Love your body, love yourself,' whatever we wanted to do, she was very accepting," Willis recounted of Moore.

"Everyone should just, yeah, love and be happy, and be yourself," she added her mother's parenting style.

Moore, who recently recovered from a health scare, was rumored to have been treated for anorexia. The teen admitted that she has been confronted with issues surrounding anorexia and eating disorders before.

"I've had so many friends of mine that have had eating disorders, especially before Coachella- there's this whole diet crazy before where you don't eat anything for like a month," said Willis of the annual music festival.

"Everyone always talks about how it [weight] is not important, but everyone on the inside, in this weird hidden place, wants to be that weird skinny little person. It's almost like weird if you're like 'I love my body,' everyone's like 'You're conceited.'"

"I don't have to be insecure to fit in," Willis assessed. "Don't be afraid of what other people think, just have fun, smile, make people laugh- that's the best thing in the world."

Willis has two older sisters, Scout, 20, and Rumer, 23, and is the youngest daughter of Demi Moore and actor Bruce Willis. During the interview, she also divulged her passion for vintage clothing and where she draws her inspiration.

"I did an internship at Harper's Bazaar going into my sophomore year, and that same summer I worked at the Marc for Marc Jacobs store, and after that I was kind of like wow, like I appreciate what and how much goes into it [fashion], and how the decisions are made about it, and how it's such a true art form," Willis told StyleLikeU.

Willis even modeled some of her favorite clothing items in the video, including a sweater that belonged to her mother, a top she bought with her sister Scout, and items from the flea market. Her most prized item was a denim jacket that features an eagle on the back.

Opening up more about her childhood, Willis explained that she has not always lived in Los Angeles.

"I spent my first seven years running around on like 20 acres of ponds and trees and ponds, and like we had this river behind our house we like go make mini hot springs in," Willis recalled.

As she has grown older though, Willis admits her love for California.

"I really love creative writing and poetry, and we're having a whole unit next year on California which I love because I love L.A. so much," said the student, before listing some of her favorite activities in the city.

Willis concluded the interview by listing future goals that include traveling, journalism, and using her "precious" time wisely.
