'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Pregnant With 'Miracle' Baby
"Teen Mom" star Maci Bookout is pregnant with her second child, who she's named her "miracle" baby.
"We still can't believe it," the mother of one told InTouch Weekly on Monday. "It was such a huge shock but we are very excited."
Bookout is in a relationship her boyfriend, Taylor McKinney, and has one son, Bentley, with previous boyfriend, Ryan Edwards. She became famous when her story got picked up by MTV for its series "16 and Pregnant," then followed on the sequential series "Teen Mom." Bookout's ensuing relationships and the stress of going back to college was all captured on film, and a special follow-up entitled "Being Maci" showed viewers what progress the teenage mother had made.

Most recently, though, she has been with McKinney, and the two are serious enough about being together that they talked about adoption upon learning that she suffered from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, which can often hinder or prevent pregnancy.
"This baby is such a blessing," Bookout said. "I'm calling her my miracle baby. I knew my chances of getting pregnant were very low."
When she started feeling swelling in her legs and having itching, Bookout suspected something was up.
"So we got a test and it said I was pregnant," she revealed. However, not fully convinced, Bookout took four more tests that all came out positive. Now 16 weeks along, Bookout is grateful for her boyfriend and her new baby.
"Last time there was a lot of worry and concern," she said of her first pregnancy with Bentley. Of course, she was only 16 years old, which put her at a higher risk. "It was just me and Bentley facing the world together and I had to figure things out as I went. This time, I'm able to be excited because I'm older and able to give my baby the stability of the relationship that Taylor and I have."
The couple is in no hurry to wed but plans to be engaged by the end of 2015. Meanwhile, Bookout will continue to film a new season of "Teen Mom" to air on MTV.
