Tim Tebow Leads Broncos to 17-14 Win Over NY Jets

Tim Tebow led the Denver Broncos to a 17-13 win against the New York Jets on Thursday night. Tebow’s major impact came during a final drive in what is his third fourth-quarter comeback this season.

Much of the game seemed like a stalemate before the last five minutes of the fourth quarter. It wasn't until there were less than five minutes on the clock in the fourth that Tebow time began ticking.

"There’s something magical about this kid," the commentator said.

The game came down to the Jets 23 yards line with two minutes in the game. Tebow ,who is now 4-1 as the starting QB with one loss and one interception, got away from his read option playing style to try something new.

The Christian athlete managed to score a 20 yard touchdown when he got out of the break with under two minutes in the game.

"Thank you father," Tebow mouthed after his touchdown while performing the Tebowing craze that has gone viral.

Tebow, a second year NFL QB who is starting for his first year, was the topic of conversation for Jets’ cornerback Darrelle Revis earlier this week. Revis told the New York Daily News that he was less concerned with stopping the Broncos, and more concerned with staying awake during the game.

“The biggest thing for the secondary is for us not to fall asleep,” Revis said. “It can get boring, especially if a team keeps on just running the ball, series after series, play after play.”

He seemed to doubt that Tebow’s read option offense could withstand the entire season much less the game on Thursday night.

“No. Not for a whole season,” Revis said. “We know what they’re doing. And we feel comfortable in our game plan.”

However, Tebow managed to prove his opponents wrong in the game that took place in Denver on Thursday night.

Although the Jets only allowed 26 yards for the rest of the half, Tebow sealed their fate with his run on third-and-4 which led to a 12-play, 95-yard drive that gave his team a win over the New York Jets.
