Tim Tebow's Virginity Back Under Scrutiny?
The virginity of 24-year-old Christian NFL quarterback Tim Tebow has been the object of scrutiny lately, with various people joking about the athlete's spiritual choice to wait until marriage before becoming sexually active.
Tebow first publicly admitted that he was a virgin during an SEC Media Day press conference, when a reporter asked the then 21-year-old college football player if he was saving himself for marriage.
"Yes, I am," Tebow answered. "I think you're stunned right now. You can't even ask a question. … I was ready for that question, but I don't think ya'll were."

Three years later, people are still speaking about Tebow's choice to wait. Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots' tight end, was the most recent person to speak out about Tebow's virginity.
At a speaking engagement for the University of Rhode Island, Gronkowski joked about taking Tebow's virginity. His remark surprised many on Twitter whose responses were, "Oh My," and "What?!"
Still, Tebow's virginity has worked in his favor. Virgin Atlantic Airlines reportedly offered Tebow free flights if he remained a virgin when the announcement was made that he would move to the New York Jets.
"The 'penalty flag' will only be thrown if the quarterback 'gets sacked' and 'loses possession' of his V-card," a statement from the airlines read.
Despite the speculation about his romantic life, Tebow said he is still single and focusing on uplifting other people.
"I'm definitely single and having a good time," Tebow told E! News during the Tebow Foundation Charity Celebrity Golf Classic in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., this past weekend. "It's amazing, I can meet someone for 10 minutes at an event, and the next thing you know, you're dating that person, you've been with them for two years and you're about to have four kids with them. It's amazing how rumors can spread."
Despite the focus on his romantic life, Tebow said he is focused on positive things, especially through his charity, the Tim Tebow Foundation.
"I haven't changed. I just want to be a great role model....and with attention you can do a lot of positive things," Tebow said. "And our goal here is to change the lives of thousands of kids."
