Warryn Campbell recently opened up about the idea of his church, California Worship Center being inspired by God.

Warryn, the My Block Records CEO, who has produced music for his wife Erica Campbell and her sister, Tina, in their group Mary Mary for years, has inspired a direction for the church. Now, the super producer is getting ready to open the doors to his church and opening up about the inspiration behind his name.

"God gave me that name, out of the blue before I had even realized that I was going to be a minister years ago. Anybody that knows me in business, I come up with business ideas all the time and I call my general manager and I said 'hey, secure this domain name for me,'" Campbell recalled on BET's Lift Every Voice. "One day I said 'secure California Worship Center,' I don't know why. I hadn't even started preaching."

Warryn said the event happened close to 10 years ago, when he first went online to make sure the name was not taken. Since it was not, the name continued to stay on his mind.

"Then later, maybe a couple years later I called (general manager) and said 'tie this domain name up,'" he said on the BET inspirational show. "Then it just became stuck with me I tried to change the name many times to something else and it was like, no."

Erica and her husband, Warryn, have decided to become church leaders after hosting Bible studies in hotel rooms. Last year, Erica spoke about their new church on "The Yolanda Adams Morning Show."

"Warryn is real serious about ministry and wants to make sure that, above all, it is God-centered," she said on Adams' show. "We kind of take the approach of [reaching] the broken, wounded people who have kind of been jaded by church and don't want to go no more."

Although Erica acknowledges that she's a busy woman, she's not going to turn away the call to ministry.

"He'll give us the grace to do it, the timing and the space, and all that kind of stuff," she said on the show. "We'll come to it. I dare not say no."

Erica, who also appears with her sister, Tina, on the hit WE-TV show "Mary Mary" spoke to The Christian Post last year about how her family was called to ministry when she was young.

"My family was kind of called to ministry before the TV show," she previously told CP. "Even with my parents we were always out front for something. We had to know and hear and understand at a young age."
