Reddit user wishthemwell posted that his friend had a mountain lion break into his home. Chilean website BioBioChile confirmed the incident, where a young, medium-sized cougar snuck into a house while the resident was making breakfast. The resident noticed the cat and locked it in the kitchen before calling animal control.
Given the run of the kitchen, the mountain lion made like your usual cat, batting around the blinds and playing with furniture – except the results are much more pronounced when that cat is a mountain lion. Animal control sedated the animal and removed it from the home. They will determine whether the cougar is wild or if it illegally belongs to a nearby resident.
