"Last night was amazing. God moved like only He could. If you missed last night, it's not too late, Prophet Kervin Smith is going [to] bring the Word. We expect to go from glory to glory so get ready!"

"Many people are waiting for a miracle to happen before they pursue their dreams, this is an unfortunate event because everyday is a miracle!" she tweeted on Oct. 5.

Ever since news about the death of pastor Zachery of the New Destiny Christian Church (NDCC) broke in August, members and compassionate followers of the late pastor and his ex-wife, who pastors Majestic Life Church in Florida, have been posting heart-warming messages on her Facebook page. These good wishes have been constant.

Tims, whose body was found in a New York City hotel room, was laid to rest on Aug. 20, since then worshipers have been showering Riva Tims with condolences.

"Hello woman of God," wrote a user going by the name of "LaToya TrueWorshipper" in September. "Although I don't know you personally you appeared to me in a dream. I pray for you and your children's continued strength and that the Lord God continue[s] to wrap his loving arms around you all in comfort. Be blessed woman of God."

Another user wrote in October: "Bless you woman of God! Be encouraged, for God promised to perfect everything that concerns you!"

"Good Morning Pastor Riva! You are Victorious, and Overcomer, and Walking in God's Divine Favor, and Liberty!!! So very thankful you answered the Call of God. We greatly appreciate you. May Increase overtake you as you move in HIM. Have an Awesome Day in the Lord!" Veleria Jackson wrote back in September.

On Sept. 5, in her first Tweet after her ex-husband's death, Riva Tims tweeted:

"Thanks 2everyone 4your prayers, love&support. NDCC please know that I love you and I am here for you and I am praying for you."

After Tims' death, Riva used Facebook to announce that she would not replace him at NDCC.

"In response to so many of your inquiries... I have gotten an overwhelming response from my New Destiny Family to come home and/or at least minister to them," Riva Tims wrote. "However, I have not been contacted by NDCC staff to return or to assist in the transition. I will continue to pray and cover NDCC, that the vision Zack and I birthed will continue! Thanks for all of your love and prayers,” stated the post.

Pastor Riva attended a live worship service at the New Destiny Christian Center on Aug.15 to bring strength and healing after her ex-husband's death.

"Zachery's death may have caught us by surprise, but it has not taken God by surprise," she said then, holding back tears. 'And God saw fit that we would have an opportunity to spend a few days together with him. He was able to fellowship with his sons and his daughters [before he died]."

"God is a good God," she continued. “And just as Dr. Zach and myself and our children got together, that is the heartbeat of God. He's looking for one body, not individual groups… He's looking for us to come together as one body… to advance the kingdom of God."

Tims, who found NDCC with his former wife, was found dead in his room at the W. Hotel in Times Square on Aug. 12.

Investigators were reportedly considering the possibility that Tims might have died from a drug overdose. The New York medical examiner's office has not yet publicly revealed Tims' cause of death, due to his family's "concerns," according to spokeswoman Ellen Borakove.
