God Loves All Lives

In Genesis 1:26-27 God created mankind. It reads, “God said, Let Us (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the (tame) beasts, and over all of the earth and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So, God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them,” (AMPC). Mankind can be defined as humans, male and female of all races and nationalities. God’s purpose in creating mankind was to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and to subdue it.

However, we all know what happened when Adam and Eve sinned against God and sin entered the world. The first murder was committed when Cain murdered his own brother Abel. Since then, we have seen many atrocities; slavery, the holocaust, racism, genocides, wars, broken marriages, broken families, etc., all due to sin. There is also the kingdom of darkness which is opposed to God’s Kingdom and is set on destroying mankind, and separating us for eternity from God, our Creator.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory (making us conquerors) through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57, AMPC). Yes, mankind fell, but God provided the perfect lamb, Jesus Christ His Son, as a sacrifice for sin. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross provided the way for us, mankind, God’s Creation, to be reconciled to Him. When we receive Jesus' sacrifice and have our sins atoned for, we become God’s children. Children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.

John 3:16-17 says, “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He (even) gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him,” (AMPC).
