Chicago Bears vs New York Jets Live Stream: Watch Online NFL Monday Night Football (ESPN Preview)
The Chicago Bears and the New York Jets will clash on Monday Night Football tonight to conclude Week 3 of the NFL 2014 regular season. Both teams have put on promising displays so far this season, but have also slumped badly at other times. Consistency is the name of the game, and both teams will be looking to put on another good performance and claim the win here today.
The game is scheduled to start at 8.30 p.m. ET and will take place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Monday Night Football will be shown on TV on the ESPN network, or alternatively the game can be watched online through live stream (details below).
The New York Jets suffered a second half blowout against the Green Bay Packers last week, which resulted in them losing the game 24-31 to fall to 1-1.
They had a great opportunity to make it a 2-0 start to the season, and after the first quarter in Wisconsin they were 14-3 up. However, they had a torrid time either side of half time and were unable to hold onto their lead.
Meanwhile, the Bears oppositely performed and amazing comeback in Week 2, to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California. Going in at half time 7-17 down, it looked like the Bears would drop to 0-2 and continue their slide.
Despite fighting hard in the third quarter they still fell further behind and entered the final quarter 7-20 down.
However, 21 unanswered points in the fourth allowed them to claim an impressive 28-20 win against one of the teams that most believe will go far in the Playoffs this season.
That victory will have lifted the spirits of the Bears players, and they will come into today's game against the Jets feeling they can claim a second straight win.
