Kandi Burruss Responds to Jealousy Comments Made by Nene Leakes and Fans

Nene Leakes and Kandi Burruss may be co-stars on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," but the two women made it clear that there is tension when the video cameras stop rolling during a recent Twitter exchange.

Leakes, 45, recently responded to a fan on Twitter who mentioned that Burruss, 36, made faces when her co-star flashed a reported 15-carat wedding ring from ex-husband Gregg Leakes on a recent reunion special for the show. After the fan spoke about Burruss' facial expression, Leakes tweeted symbols of a ring, a set of eyeballs and ears.

"I hope y'all enjoyed the reunion show," Leakes tweeted in between responding to her fans' assessment of Burruss. "Thanks for the beautiful comments about my bling! I shut'em down EASY!"

Burruss took to Twitter to make a statement that was seemingly aimed at the comments made by Leakes and her fans.

"Before I take off let me say I am not jealous of no woman," Burruss tweeted. "Especially not any on my show. They have nothing I want or can't get. #Fact"

During "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" season 5 reunion show, the pair's friendship was brought into question by host Andy Cohen. While both women admitted that they have taken verbal jabs at one another, Leakes insisted that she has never taken playful insults too far when speaking about Burruss.

"No, we can definitely laugh about it ... You know, I feel like if you can dish it out, just be able to take it," Leakes said on "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion show. "And you know, as long as I'm not trying to cut you to the white meat and you know, hit you below the belt, then we cool."

However, Burruss decided to call Leakes out for the comments that the latter made concerning the singer-songwriter's former fiancé Ashley Jewell, who died after an altercation outside of an Atlanta strip club in 2009.

"I think that you have done that before … One time when you were on the radio in the past, you said something about my relationship with A.J. and it was about whatever. And I felt like 'Whoa, okay.' That was not cool for you to say," Burruss told Leakes on the reunion show. "So that's when I felt like 'You know what, I don't mess with her like that.' And that's when you got a different me."
