The Galaxy Note 2 will be T-Mobile's first device to feature a quad-core processor and will also be the first to come with Android 4.1, JellyBean pre-installed.

The device has also been confirmed for three of the other major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon and U.S. Cellular. AT&T put out a press release earlier this month and confirmed that it will make the new Note available in the coming months. All of these carriers should release it sometime by mid-November. The device has already hit shelves in stores outside the U.S.

The Galaxy Note 2 specifications are sure to be more impressive than many of the smartphones and tablets currently available in the market.

The new hybrid device is expected to feature the same audio output quality as the Samsung Galaxy S3. The smartphone's audio was developed by Wolfson and is known as WM1811 Audio Hub.

WM1811 Audio Hub delivers crystal clear voice quality and enhanced audio playback. It also does not eat up all of the battery's juice, making it energy efficient. By employing this sound technology, Samsung could end up putting out the finest multimedia device in the market.
